First see if you have a Haltech or Microsquirt ECU. It will say right on it and it is located in the left rear of the engine compartment on the tray wall behind the exhaust header pipe. Now download the corresponding software onto your windows based PC using one of the first 2 links below for your ECU brand. For other computer and phone options use the links from the MFG website. | ||

All Microsquirt ECUs should already be pre-programmed with the main controller file but
just in case it isn't here it is:

Connecting
The Haltech will connect with a standeard USB
to USB-B cable. The plug
is under the screw off cap on the ECU. Standard cable vailable for $12, Special
cable is $27 and needed if you have white potting in the connector
preventing a standard cable from going all the way in. Use a mirror
and flashlight to check. |

How to load new files and maping | Plug everything in like shown on our video then turn the ski power on and lauch the tuner studio program. There are a couple different ways to connect. Follow the instructions on the TPS calibration file below or from our unlisted video. Request a link (JS customers only) If your computer will not connect to the ECU then you may need to down load the driver files for the data cable: Prolific Driver files for USB to Serial port cable |

Fuel
pump primes when the power button is pressed. Has a data logger. Plugs in with a usb printer cable |
Fuel pump only turns on when it sences RPM like when the start button is pressed
and the engine turns over. Does not have a data logger. Requires a special data cable. |
