Krash known issues and fixes

Pre 2019
Krash enters the market with a NEW, small, fun, playful, ready to ride jet ski that only weight 300lbs as other MFG's change to large heavy skis meant for bouy racing only.

Pre 2019
Not sure on any/all issues before 2019 but there were some carb machining issues on some which prevented the backbleed plate (aka kidney plate) gasket from being able to seal so excess fuel was always being pumped in making the engines run rich and impossible to tune. The fix, replace carbs. Video here.
The needle and seat hole was also drilled out too big allowing fuel to be pumped past the o-ring also making it difficult to tune. This can be checked with a pop off gauge. Video here.
Backbleed (aka kidney plate) gaskets need trimmed.
Video here
There were no pressure relief valves to regulate the tank/fuel pressure or to prevent the fuel from flooding into the engine. The thicker o rings and pressure relief valves are available hereVideo here

These issues led to flooded, hydro locked and hard starting engines. Then to burned up starters and some burned up wiring and CDI's.
We recommend a 12awg or larger ground wire be placed on the electrical box and attached to the engine block. An easy place to do this is at the intake manifold.

You may read about other carb mods people have done but once the pressure relief valves are installed and the backbleed gaskets are properly trimmed there really hasn't been a need for anything else. If your carbs need rebuilt kits are available here. If your not comfortable or dont have the tools we do provide the service.
